Nadu brings a fresh perspective to the heritage of our owners Raja and Saravanan, offering you traditional Tamil street food with a modern twist and a menu of innovative cocktails, all served in a vibrant atmosphere in the epicentre of Stokes Croft.
Nadu showcases honest food full of exotic flavours, using local produce and traditional Tamil techniques from our head chef and co-owner Saravanan Nambirajan. The cuisine traditionally uses the fruits of the land (Nadu translates to land); from the staple vegetarian dishes to fresh fish and expertly cooked meat dishes. Tamil food is based on the concept that food shapes the personality, mood, and mind; something we firmly believe and aim to reflect in our menus.
